IMG_3415.JPG23 viewsLooking toward Thompson Peak from the Thompson/Mickeys Spire Saddle, it is difficult to pick out the summit. We decided it was the pinnacle on the left; it looks higher, and has a shape closer to that of Thompson as viewed from Goat Lake.

We arrived here after first climbing the pinnacle just to the west, which was slightly lower, more exposed, and quite a bit more cramped on top. Both have couloirs leading to a notch, with a short scramble on solid rock to reach the top.
