It looks like a lot of boulder hopping, but by following the grassy areas up from the lake basin almost to the highest trees, then continuing more or less in about the middle right of the photo, it went surprisingly fast, and was not bad. We stayed higher on the moraine, west, of the lower drainage, even though there was some snow.
