IMG_4345.JPG10 viewsIt became necessary to switch to our water shoes when we reached the 'seeps', about 15 minutes before arriving at the camping area. Although the water ran clear, it flowed over mud, extending over the width of the slot.Apr 01, 2014

IMG_4346.JPG7 viewsThe presence of water ahead indicates we are arriving at the confluence of the Paria River. It is now 6:37 pm, less than 2 hours of daylight with 7.5 miles to go. I think I am being too optimistic!Apr 01, 2014
