IMG_9041.JPG0 viewsOur eventual destination was Lamarck Col at the head of Darwin Canyon, accessible above the Darwin Bench, the entrance to which can be seen at the bottom of the dark ridge extending toward Evolution Valley from the top right corner of the photo.

Starr's Route (class 2) ascends the north ridge of the dark peak to the left (east), to its crest, then a ledge leads around behind this peak (12980+) to the top of the Goddard Divide. Ascend talus slopes to the summit of Mt. Goddard.
