Idaho Exposure

To the east, northeast far below is the "unnamed lake" at roughly 9000' where we stood 4 years earlier on our 2nd hike together, contemplating what the summit, thinking we might have tried for it had we started an hour earlier. On Labor Day 3 years ago, we descended the Williams/Thompson saddle to that same lake after running short on daylight, and abandoning a summit attempt (see gallery).
