About an hour after leaving camp at noon, I'm following the "off-and-on" climber's path that began on the west side of the outlet at Imogene Lake. This was one of the first small tarns I arrived at. The description I was following said to cross the outlet stream of lake 8320' and ascend the wooded slopes north of the outlet from the lake west of point 8817.
