Idaho Exposure

Hiking, Climbing, Backpacking, Snowshoeing, Backcountry Skiing. Photos by Thomas Oetzell; idahoexposure.com

After completing our hike, we drove west from Tuolumne Meadows to Olmsted Point, which offers commanding views south to Half Dome (surprisingly close), and northeast to the domes north of Tenaya Lake. The Great White Book on Stately Pleasure Dome (far left, west) is a classic 5.6 rock climb. It is the long, left leaning white line to the left of the right edge of the dome's skyline. I did this around the same time I first climbed Cathedral Peak.
